Lake Wisconsin has quickly become one of my favorite destinations. A few years ago @SCP1 showed me the ropes and I’ve been hooked ever since. This weekend was the first of the year for my crew on the water and the 90+ degree temps made it awesome. Also had the pleasure to meet @OB WI and his family too. So much fun.2528F964-4EA0-48B2-B937-CA4A81BFF7B7.jpegB51652BC-979D-47D3-8188-91B6701AA6FE.jpeg3F638238-E60A-4641-BD8D-E52BA0B030E5.jpeg

I’d like to check this lake out this summer..where do you launch and is there plenty of parking?

We launch at Whalens Grade, right off Hwy CS, a few miles west of the interstate. Decent amount of parking because you can park out on the road along “the grade”.17951357-3087-41F7-B0A6-ACA851ED4A39.jpegE155A6B9-33C2-44F8-B5C8-54DD445C8737.jpeg

Going up river to the sand bars in lake WI be prepared to see 2.5 have feet on your depth gauge even on the bouy line (this why I don't own a wakeboat). Ok this is what I keep telling myself, lol. Obviously there is deeper water where we shut down and take off. However if you go down the lake towards the Dam you will have plenty of water. Do we see wakeboats up river yes, however there are some I see put in and never venture up river. More than happy to show you around, just want you to be aware of what to expect. PM me if you decide to come over and we can figure out a weekend that works.

@RiverRat what is that in the first picture just off the bow of your boat? Looks like a dog walking on water.

God bless the Wisconsin River! So many sandbars... this is how we roll every weekend in the central Wisconsin area. Like you said, one of the deciding factors in "should I buy a legit wake boat or keep the jet..." If you ever venture north to the Stevens Point area hit me up. Also, sorry not sorry about the pee we're sending down stream. :)
