Hi; new to boat ownership not necessarily boating. (grew up on boats lots, and did some Navy reserve time).

My local Glastron dealer has a left over 250HP GT187. But I'm worried about the reliability and maint of the Rotax.

Appreciate any feedback or help from owners out there with experience!

Hey bowser, no reliability issues to report with mine, its a 207 but practically the same. The 25 hour maintenance service was annoying as my local dealer didn't have the proper computer to clear the service light, wasn't a huge deal, they had the computer on the other side of town at another dealer so just took a few extra days, but other than that it's been fine. over 50 hours now. I left it sitting in storage longer than i wanted to this last winter, but it fired right up a couple weekends ago and ran great.

I have a 2014 GTS187 with the 250. About 55 hours. Maintenance is pretty easy. No real issues for me at all. I don’t drive it much, but it fires and runs great every time.

The few things I have fixed are a strap, wear ring and the bulge pump. There are threads in here by me somewhere...

Love the boat though, just wish I had more time to use it.

I have had zero problems 2015 gts187 have 187 hours on it.. I never took it to the dealer for anything have done everything myself and own a candoo pro
