I am looking at 2 boats… for context, I’ve owned a 2007 AR210 since it was new and it has been absolutely amazing. However, with some minor repairs it is now needing (upholstery mainly) and our now growing family (grand kids, etc.), we have decided to let her go and get a new or newer larger boat. We live at higher altitude (lakes are at about 4,700 to 5,600 ft). We found a very low hour (under 100 hours) 2019 242X e series and a brand new left over 2025 AR250. I would need to install the ballast system on the new boat. The over all price difference is about $8,000, so not that much. The 2025 will have more power, but the 2019 has all the bells and whistles… what would you all do?

Get the 2025 and have the impellers re pitched or just get a new set of impellers pitched for your altitude.
There has been some significant improvements to the 2025 over the 2019 boat, much quieter due to engine changes, sound deadening materiel in the engine bay, and the four bladed impellers.
