One picture of your last outing.

Love cruises! Where ya headed? We left out of Ft Lauderdale, but it was storming like crazy a couple weeks back. That looks much more pleasant.
Went out of Miami to Bahamas. Quick 4 day cruise on NCL. Agreed very relaxing, everything is taken care off. The weather has been good so far.
We are on a smaller ship 😂 LOL

That the Disney Dream next to you? We were on that ship a few weeks back. The Utopia is massive!

I believe it was Disney Wish and it was bigger than NCL as well.
Oasis class is massive. Aqua theater is my favorite show there. We usually go to see at least 2.

Ahhhh, that makes sense. What island were you at? I think the Dream is getting ready to be sent somewhere else.....and/or scrapped or refit.

Lake was pretty empty today. Kinda bummed I didn't bring my surfboard. Didn't think we'd have much of a chance to do any surfing. Would have been perfect. Lake was near glass, no wind, and empty. Turtle came to hang out, and would even eat out of my hand. Little one got to try out the new slide today and loved it. Kids both passed out in a second. Everything is inflated and drying off in the garage. Lots of work, but worth every second.20250620_162548.jpg20250620_163459.jpg20250620_163504.jpg20250620_170139.jpg20250620_210935.jpg

No pictures from my first outing of the year today. Launched the boat, maneuvered over to the lift 50' away, was getting ready to put the boat onto the lift, and the port side steering cable failed like someone threw a switch, like losing power steering in a car. Went from smooth as butter to barely movable. No visible issues with the cable at either end. Not a grinding noise, more like the cable is trying to squeeze through a really tight rubber gasket. Total time in the lake before failure, three minutes. I guess it's time to leverage my extended warranty.

Dock has been in the water since May 2nd, and water levels finally came down enough so boats could go in for the first time this weekend. I hope the lead time on a new cable doesn't steal too much more boat time from us.
