Any idea what size is needed for this trailer?

I measured the inside roller and it is 3 5/8", is it the same for you?

Is this the same as the bottom one? I can get it locally:

Yes, that's the same one.

The ULT-4 inside roller is more like 3-3/4" but it fits in there nice and snug--helps prevent the metal arms from poking past the roller and touching the bow.

does it still spin?

Mine does not spin freely on its own but I can make it spin if I twist it by hand and it does spin under the weight of the bow coming up on it when I load. I think the metal arms could also be pulled apart a little bit to give it more space, but I've never bothered trying. I erred on the side of a wider inner roller rather than a thinner inner roller (e.g. 3.5") because with thinner inner rollers I've seen where the metal arms can still come through and touch the bow.

I'm trying to get updated on this Stolz roller. Will this fit most Yamaha boats including 21 Ft? What is the issue with the roller Shorelandr is using?

The shorelandr one will mar your boat, lots of threads on it here. Yes the 4 inch is what I use on my 21'. Works great. The marring you see above the bell on the right there was from the 15 mile trip home from the dealer with the garbage stock roller. This is the the second day I had the boat and switched rollers. Was beyond annoyed. At least i read on here about switching it out and ordered it. TBH I don't get it. It is not like it is a freak occurrence. For the amount of money that we pay for these boats, they can force Shorlandr to put a better roller on for $30 bucks? I don't get that.

My roller doesn't look like that...it has bells. Maybe they corrected it. I was pissed that my trailer came with incandescent bulbs. I upgraded to LED. 5K for a trailer and they can't even put LED lamps on it.

No that above is the upgraded roller. This below was the stock roller which was crap. I stopped to check trailer and I stuffed some cloth between them to prevent further marring during a downpour. It sucked.

After looking at your pics, I had the same marks on my bow but the dealer said it was from the shrink wrap. What a crock. I'll be changing it out. Easy to change with the boat on the trailer?

Its not bad. Best way is to just put some 4 x 4's or something similar under the centerline of the boat where it flattens out and then a square throw cushion PFD or something real cushy. Then just lower your tongue jack and it will lift up the bow a bit off the roller and then you can do it.

I'm curious....Your roller looks different that the ULT-4 roller that everyone is talking about.

Amazon has the ULT-4 with bells for $53.99, Sturdy-Built has it for $33.99. I've noticed this about Amazon lately. Starting to be a ripoff.
Sturdy built will add 15-20 bucks for shipping so it's pretty much a wash. Expect to pay about 50 bucks no matter where you go.

I went and measured mine today. 3 5/8 like you said. I'm going to go with the 4" and see how that works.
