This is the place - Utah Jet Boaters

Awesome!!! If you're bored early June, you can join us at Lake Powell.

We went down there this weekend to work on our houseboat and saw a red AR going (the other way) north on I-15. Looked like a 212X based on the graphics. We weren't towing anything otherwise I thing we would have likely flashed each other with our high beams.

Getting excited, Thanks for your help #UtahRD

How early? How many people do you have going?

We're going to be there May 22 - June 4th. We have 17 people going week1 and 12 people going week2. Houseboat holds about 20 people comfortably (and even then, there's always the shore for camping). In week 1 we have another family bringing some kids, 2 and 5 Y/O, I think. Might have another family with similar ages, but I think your boy is a little older that they are, would be fun all the same.

That is an amazing picture of the gorge! When we were up there, the pictures were breathtaking!

Bump. We're on our way there next week, I'm so excited!

The weather was sucky memorial weekend but it quickly turned around. I will add some pictures later, but holy cow it was amazing. 78 degrees water temp, low 90's for high's ... could have done without a screaming, teething, 10 month old child (of mine) ... but otherwise it was awesome. Spent most of it in Padre Bay. Saw TONS of yamaha's, holy cow... so many. Had to have been 30+ Yamaha's when last year I had only seen 5.

My son and I went up to Strawberry Sunday for some trout fishing

I like the Jarvies boat in campground. No beaching there but they have slips and campgrounds with bathrooms. you can reserve them at recreation.gov for about $20 a night. Money well spent!

We had a great trip. Question. Do you anchor the back of your boat when you are fishing (Not trolling) My boat is spinning and I am thinking of buying another anchor to toss off the rear of the boat.

Since this thread started and now... we now moved to the estates across from rockport and keep our boat slipped at the marina. We have frequent neighbor raft ups but it’s never all Yamaha. Would love to host one at some point.
