I have found that when I pick up my boat/trailer from the storage after a couple of weeks, there is a vibration when first driving. I think this could be flat spots on the tires and it goes away after a few miles. I do have the right pressure in the tires and I can't see anything else wrong.

Do others experience this and what is the right way to prevent and/or deal with this?

Thank you

What are the age of the tires and how often is the trailer used?

Mine do this. Only way to prevent would be to jack your trailer up when you leave it sitting for long periods.....or just deal with it for the 1st 5 miles.

The tires are in great shape from what I can tell and I think they are about 2 years old. The trailer gets used for trips that are about 80 miles round trip

Do you have bias or radial tires?

I probably have bias tires but I am not sure. The flatstoppers sound like a great idea but they are a little steep ($250). It sounds like others have experienced this same thing so I will learn to live with it and monitor. Over the winter, I will probably jack up the trailer

Mine do the same thing only after a week. My tires are balanced and at correct pressure. It goes away after I drive a little while too. Funny you mentioned that!
