Twin Impeller Swap - pictures

Finally got to swapping out the OEM impellers with the Leading Edge twins. The original impellers have 270 hours on them, and a lot of weighed down surfing. They were for sure in need of replacement.

As a note, these things were STUCK on. Don't even try this - I wasted two hours attempting to use a vice.


Do this instead - I was able to pop off both impellers within a minute using the trailer tire to hold it down and a impact socket with a breaker bar.

Twin screws vs single screws. Cost is not for the faint of heart - a pair was $1700

I'm hoping so (and according to others that have installed them). Need the rain to stop and the Wisconsin river to calm down and flush out all the crap before I'm attempting to put the boat on the water.
