Nice! Looks like you had a blast. Well done.

congrats!

Congrats on the surf!!!!

Thanks. Adding the extra ballast helped. Now I just need to play with placement to see what works best.

I found a 800 lb bag in the ski locker and 450 across the back seat works good ( will full stock ballast ), but i'm going to try moving the weight to the swim deck to see if i can clean up the jet wash a bit by forcing the stern lower.

I was thinking my next move would be to tie the bag on the swim deck as well. If that makes a big difference then I may have to invest in another bag for the bow.

@bobbie and @SColby7 I think what you are going to find out about that setup is you will have a taller wave but the pocket will be closer to the boat so i do not know how close you are now, just something to keep in mind. It is worth a shot anyways to find out.

Thanks for the info. I am somewhat close and would like to be back a little farther. Ill keep trying things out and to get it to where I like it. Ithink that is one of the reasons I have fun with it. Just riding and trying different things with the boat and the board.

That's half the fun !!! More weight int the front makes a longer pocket , more weight in the rear make a taller wave , but shorter pocket !!! It's all about what you perfer , I like more front weight , and my wife likes more aft weight , the key is to have fun !!!! We love playing with the weight combination , it's fun to surf different waves from the same boat !!!!

@sx210owner I'm really close to the swim deck...sometimes touching the nose on the deck. would like to be able to be back a bit. maybe i will try bow/swim deck combo and see how that goes. put the 800 on the deck and 450 on the floor in the bow?? thoughts??

Anything is worth a shot.

Do it , if you don't like it you could always move it !!!
