It's the bronze Fonz! Shame that Rock Bottom closed, but it looks like you had a great trip. Did you drop in over by McKinley, or South Shore? From where you guys were at, you were close enough to walk to SafeHouse. Dunno if you've been, but if not, something to consider for another trip

Very nice! pulled my boat out of McKinley Marina earlier on Saturday to do some long needed cleaning.

A week and a half ago, my son, daughter, and I dropped a couple of jetskis in Oshkosh and rode up to Fremont. Awesome ride, especially through Boom Bay (?). We ate at the Bridge Bar & Restaurant. Great burgers.

Definitely been to the Safehouse many times! We put in at McKinley. My company did the electrical last year when it was redone. Including this fun severe weather siren I installed.

We did this a few years ago - had a great time on the river and rented a slip at McKinley Marina for a couple days.

I'll be out on the Wolf River Sunday, all other days have already been spoken for. Not many days left for the season for us. Hoping to get some work finished on the boat this fall, and it already feels like I'm out of time!

We’re gonna try to get out one more time once I get back from my business trip next Monday.

Plan is to go out one last time on Thursday (sunny, mid 70's, low wind) and then we are off to northern WI for a weekend waterfall tour on Friday. Colors are supposed to be peak right now and it should be a good time.

Went for a fall cruise on pool 9 Mississippi River and checked out the comet before putting her to bed for the winter.

The Labor Day weekend is shaping up to be about as good as you can get in the upper Midwest this time of year - sunny, temps in the 70's, and light/variable winds all three weekend days.

Planning on going out all three days which should put a nice bow on the season - anything after this weekend will be gravy.

Anyone gonna be on the Lake Winnebago chain over the next few days?

Pretty good weekend but the temps didn’t get into the 70’s until after lunch time. Fortunately the winds were low so it was comfortable once we anchored. Water temps were around 70 which is a bit cool but we were in 2’-3’ of water so not bad. Went to Streich’s on Saturday, a loop around Lake Winneconne and then the Sand Pit on Sunday, and then a low key day back at the Sand Pit yesterday.

Not many boats out on Saturday or Sunday but yesterday was pretty busy.

If this weekend was the season’s last hurrah then I’m good with that.
