On my AR250 (2023), how do you remove the battery switch cover for the house battery to install a new electronic device (amp)? I thought it should be easy, but I am missing something (and it was getting too dark to look further).

The DVSR is bolted. There is nuts on the other side. It took me a bit to figure this out.

Mine is screws. Perhaps they are saving money where they can.

In order to add something you have to take the whole unit off which should be bolts.

The bolts have Phillips heads also

What year is your boat? I removed it, added my amp's positive connection and put it back. However, it was definitely just screws and not bolts with nuts.

You have to remove all the screws, it comes off as a single piece. I recommend adding a buss bar in the battery compartment so you don't have to remove every time you add something

I have a 2017 ar240. I assumed they used the same dvsr in all the boats. But you know what happens when you assume. ?
