My last outing was in a kayak this afternoon, to get out to my dock and survey the damage. This is what happens when the lake rises 3 1/2' above normal levels, and then some storms with heavy winds roll through. The dock floated up off several of the poles, then rotated about 90* and has been stable in that spot for about three weeks. Water has come down about 2' in the past two days. There was remarkably little damage to the dock. I think i'll be able to swing it back into position tomorrow and get the rest of the poles back in.

Don't forget to be careful if that Diquat "spills". Sure, it might be easier to move that dock without all the weeds, but just think of...how much easier it might be to move that dock without all the weeds
